I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix % f- B+ Q; w$ j. p 9 x; }8 Q( Z( ^' ~9 X8 Oand I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here 0 o: ]; A& ]$ Q- }7 w, I
